• An old lady is brutally murdered in her home
• The old lady's home was one Kenny broke into as a child
• Kenny was married, but divorced by the time he is accused of murder
• Betty Ann was married, but later divorced
• Kenny's ex wife and ex girlfriend lied under oath to help convict him
• The ex wife and ex girlfriend were influenced to lie by the police department
• The arresting officer was a female officer who held a grudge against Kenny for his rude behavior against her while she first questioned him about the murder
• Betty Ann worked hard to become Kenny's lawyer
• DNA evidence and a recant from his ex wife helped free Kenny after 18 years in prison.  
• A case was filed against the small town of Massachusetts police department for corruption, and won. 
• The arresting officer could not be convicted of a crime due to the statute of limitations time limit
